Tree Trimming To Close Lanes Of I-95 In Greenwich, Stamford

GREENWICH/STAMFORD, Conn. -- Lanes of both northbound and southbound I-95 will be closed Saturday morning in Greenwich and Stamford to allow for tree-trimming work, the Department of Transportation announced. 

Lane closures will be required during the project, which consists of trimming trees around DOT traffic and incident management cameras.

Motorists can expect lane closures on I-95 northbound and southbound between the New York State Line and Exit 6 for Grenhart Road in Greenwich and Stamford.  Traffic control personnel and signs will be used to guide motorists through the work zone.

The work schedule for this project is from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. 

The schedule may be modified or extended due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.
