A number of places will be closed or schedules changed because of the Thanksgiving holiday:
City offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
There is no garbage pickup Thursday. Thursday and Friday's garbage will be picked up Friday.
There is no citywide recycling Thursday. Thursday's recycling will be picked up Saturday.
The Transfer Station and Recycling Center on Crescent Street will be closed Thursday.
The yard waste disposal site on South Smith Street is closed Thursday.
The Maritime Aquarium is closing at 3 p.m. today and will reopen with its normal hours Friday.
Stepping Stones Museum for Children is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday. The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum is open from noon to 4 p.m. Friday.
