A 16-year-old male called 911 at about 10 p.m. Monday to report that he had been stabbed. According to Norwalk police, the youth was walking through the parking lot of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church on Cliff Street when he was attacked. The parking lot faces Soundview Avenue.
The young man sought help and headed into Jordan's Too! Restaurant at 252 Flax Hill Road. He told police he was walking home from a friend's house when three or four males approached him and asked for money. He didn't have any. As he walked away, he was stabbed in the back. The men ran off. The victim said he didn't see a knife.
The youth was still in the hospital Tuesday morning with a serious wound. Police did not get a description of the men from the victim because he was hospitalized. Police will use surveillance tapes from the restaurant in the investigation.
