NORWALK, Conn. A 16-year-old driver has been charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle following the death of a jogger in Norwalk in March, Norwalk Police say.
The New Canaan girl, whose name was not released, has also been charged with use of a hand-held telephone under age 18 and failure to drive in the proper lane.
Kenneth Dorsey died March 24 after being struck by a Toyota 4Runner at about 9:30 a.m. in the area of 224 New Canaan Ave., said police, who investigated the case for six weeks.
The driver turned herself in Saturday. Her juvenile court date is May 24.
