The ramps will be closed to allow for milling and paving operations. The closure will affect I-95 Southbound Exits 15, 14, 13, 12, 11 and 10 in Norwalk and Darien for both the on- and off-ramps during. The closures will be from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Mondays through Fridays.

This work is part of the pavement preservation project along 1-95. The project begins at mile 10.67 (Exit 10) and ends at log mile 15.91(Exit 15) in both the northbound and southbound directions.

Ramp closure detours will be implemented and appropriate signs will be posted in the area. Drivers are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this vicinity.

The project consists of micro milling 2.5 inches of the travel surface and replacing it with 3 inches of Polymer Modified Asphalt as well as replacing the top 2 inches of the travel surface on all ramps within the project limits.

Motorists should be aware that the construction schedule may be modified or extended due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions.

The Project was awarded to O&G Industries Inc. of Torrington on March 17 at a cost of $14.5 million. The entire project is expected to be completed Nov. 9.
