A Stamford judge sentenced Mustapha Jacobs, 29, to the six years that will be added to the 10 year sentence he is already serving for drug possession and dealing, said the Stamford Advocate.
A cigarette butt left at the scene of the crime is what linked Jacobs to being part of the crime at the Miracle Shell Station that left Morales, 33, dead after he had turned over $1,300 to Jacobs' accomplice, Alain LeConte of Stamford, the Stamford Advocate reported. LeConte has been convicted of Morales' murder and is serving a 90-year sentence, added the Stamford Advocate.
Jacobs was said to have received $200 for driving the getaway car, the Stamford Advocate said.
