The event is free to the public and brings together fine arts, culture, family activities and entertainment. Fairfield County’s premier fine arts celebration will once again feature more than 150 juried exhibiting artists providing the largest market for work from both regional and national talent.

Diverse musical selections includes a broad array of genres such as funk, blues, folk, reggae, Americana, jazz, jam and improv.

Bring the kids to the Children’s Art Playground and give them a chance to express their creativity as they produce their very own pieces of art -- all of the projects are free, and the kids get to keep their work. Children can also paint our Children’s Art Playground Murals.

Each year kids can make mini masterpieces, optical toys, straw art and masks. For more information on getting involved in the Children’s Art Playground, contact cap@sonoarts.org.

There will be food at the tables in the Food Court on Washington Street. Refreshments and snacks are available along the streets of the celebration -- you can sample the many Washington Street restaurants as they come out into the street to serve patrons.

The SoNo Arts Celebration is always looking for volunteers to help with everything from general logistics, stage set-up and beverage sales to assistance with the artists and performers.

You can come and volunteer on the day of the event. Contact: volunteers@sonoarts.org
