Snow flurries and some hail fell in parts of Fairfield County early Thursday afternoon even as temperatures hovered in the mid-40s.

There will be more of a winter feel through Friday morning, with lows temperatures between 29 and 32 degrees and patchy frost between 3 and 9 a.m. Friday.

Temperatures will warm up to between 52 and 54 degrees during the day Friday under partly sunny skies before the cold returns overnight into Saturday.
