FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Scattered showers and clouds will mark a damp Monday in Fairfield County with high temperatures in the mid-60s, according to the National Weather Service.
But the gray skies will give way to sun for the rest of the week, the weather service said.
High temperatures will be start in the mid-60s, rising each day until hitting about 76 degrees by Friday, the weather service said.
The moderate temperatures herald the end of summer. Fall arrives this year on Sunday, Sept. 22.
