NORWALK, Conn. A person was shot in South Norwalk on Wednesday night, sources say.
At least seven police cruisers raced south on South Main Street at about 9:30 p.m. Police scanner reports indicated that a single male victim had been shot in the shoulder. A police source confirmed that someone had been shot but offered no further details.
Paramedics were on the scene on Meadow Street, across from Lajoie's Auto Parts. Police incident reports indicate that a medical aid call was received at 9:28 p.m. at 49 Meadow St.
Police were also at Woodward and Grove streets. Special Services Officer Mark Suda and other officers were interviewing people on the street.
