Service Suspended On Metro-North's New Haven Line

NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. — Service on Metro-North's New Haven Line was suspended as of 10:50 p.m. Sunday between Stamford and Harrison due to weather-related problems, according to officials. After a severe storm, multiple trees were down on feeder cables and on signal and communication lines between Harrison and Cos Cob.

Metro-North forces were out working to clear the trees and make the necessary repairs to be able to safely restore service.

According to a statement issued late Sunday, Metro-North was also experiencing extensive delays along the entire New Haven Line due to these issues. Customers were advised to monitor Metro-North's website at www.mta.info for service updates.
