The suit against Remington Arms Company Bushmaster Firearms, Camfour Holding and Riverview Gun Sales of East Winsdor was thrown away by Superior Court Judge Barbara Bellis last month. The companies listed are the manufacturer, distributor and seller of the AR-15 rifle Adam Lanza used to kill 26 people in Sandy Hook Elementary School in 2012, , the New Canaan Advertiser reported.

A spokesman from Remington told the New Canaan Advertiser it expected the Supreme Court to the issue same ruling the Superior Court arrived at.
