NORWALK, Conn. A man in his 20s escaped injury Wednesday afternoon in South Norwalk when bullets missed their mark, Norwalk Police Sgt. Marc Lepore said. "This was not a random act of violence by any means," Lepore said, adding that the intended victim was known to the shooters. No one was hurt.
Lepore could not provide many details because the incident was still under investigation. He did say, however, that the suspects were not in a car when shots were fired in the area of 105 S. Main St. The "public has been very helpful," he said.
Police responding to the 3:32 p.m. call initially did not find anything. But they eventually determined that there had been a shooting and recovered evidence.
