NORWALK, Conn. – Rowayton has been named one of the top 10 "Happiest Seaside Towns" in America by Coastal Living Magazine. You can vote for Rowayton to win through Feb. 28.

"This picturesque New England village has lured artists for centuries," reads the magazine's description of Rowayton. "It's like Nantucket or Martha's Vineyard, say locals (4,000 call it home), but without the swell of tourists."

Other finalists include La Jolla, Calif., Newport, R.I. and Pa'ia Town, Hawaii. Finalists were selected by polling Facebook and editors for towns that define that "coastal vibe." You can vote hourly for your town, and the winner will be featured in the June 2013 issue of Coastal Living.

I guess this will make our Mayor happy the crowd will be worked.

To compare to the Islands or Newport to Rowyaton simply lost all credibility.

1 800 366 4712 would be the number to contact to set the record straight.

All the other places mentioned where most of us have been I'm sure we have felt welcomed living here that welcome feeling behind high fences security gaurds and elaborate security systems has never given me that sense of seaside .

Did Duff think of this it has his prints on it?
