Richard Dinizo has been accused of blindfolding three girls on separate occasions in his Cortlandt Manor home and sexually assaulting them while recording the act each time, according to The Journal News report. Dinizo faces felony charges and could face life in prison if he is convicted, according to the report.
Dinizo was arrested March 15 by investigators with the state police and special agents assigned to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
“The defendant’s actions are both disturbing and depraved,” Westchester County District Attorney Janet DiFiore said, according to The Journal News report. “The ultimate irony in his depravity was that by recording the assaults, he ensured that he will be held accountable.”
Dinizo's lawyer Joseph Abinanti said his client had a "difficult road" ahead considering the "substantial sentences involved," according to the report.
Dinizo is due back in court Oct. 10, according to the report.
