Members of the Norwalk community and surrounding areas are encouraged to drop off new or gently-used winter coats and jackets to Norwalk City Hall until Nov. 14. The Norwalk Police Department will also accept donations on Nov. 15 from 2 until 7 p.m.

Donations will be sorted by volunteers on Nov. 16.

“People count on being able to find winter coats for their children and themselves at this annual event," Pat Cage, P2P's In-Kind manager and coat drive coordinator, said in a statement. "Last year, we collected more than 1,500 coats and jackets. The generosity of our community made a difference in the lives of so many in the community.”
