One person was shot Friday evening near the intersection of South Main and Grove streets, Norwalk police said. Officers responded to reports of multiple shots fired and found the victim.
According to published reports the victim died and has been identifed as Michael "Mizzy" Robinson, 21.
Police have not released further details.
Police, fire and EMS units responded to the 7:02 p.m. 911 call. Traffic to the area was limited temporarily while police searched the scene for evidence.
