NORWALK, Conn. A woman was extricated from her car by the Norwalk Fire Department on Tuesday evening on East Avenue in Norwalk after a two-car collision, a witness said. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The accident on the Interstate 95 overpass happened at about 6:38 p.m. A red pickup truck hit the woman's car as the truck came off the highway, the witness said. It took about 15 minutes to get the woman out of the car. Police remained on the scene for about an hour.
