NORWALK, Conn. - Three days after Hurricane Sandy knocked power out to many in Norwalk, residents still in the dark are getting frustrated - and they're speaking out on The Norwalk Daily Voice's Facebook page .

Readers reacted to Connecticut Light & Power's announcement Thursday that almost everyone will have their power restored by Monday or Tuesday.

"That is awful!!!," reader Lisa Engelhardt Helwig wrote.

"I guess I'll deduct the $50 a day I'm spending on gas for my generator from my bill - you need to do better," reader Joe Muro told CL&P. "What about the poor people in shelters. C'mon, you knew this was coming and you knew how bad you responded on previous storms."

Other readers also questioned the power company's much-touted preparations.

"If this is prepared I would hate to see what unprepared looks like," Gill Ruehl wrote. "I feel bad for the towns around Norwalk."
