NORWALK, Conn. Tim Buono had a vantage point a photojournalist can only dream of Sunday when the high tide rushed into East Norwalk his house on Dorlon Street.
Buono is one of several readers of The Daily Norwalk who have contributed pictures of Tropical Storm Irene.
Greg Brasher has photos showing the damage to the community dock in Rowayton. He's made light of it as well, creating postcard-like images of himself kayaking down Rowayton Avenue.
Paige Schwartz of Westport has a photo of a sight rarely seen in Norwalk empty shelves at Stew Leonard's Dairy Store.
Joy Gifford shows us how bad the flooding was in Marvin Beach, and Janine Hardiman of the West Rocks section has a shot of her backyard. "A large piece of oak fell, crushing my neighbor's fence," she wrote. "It narrowly missed my garage, which had my roadster inside!"
In all, they are a great cross-section of what happened in town Sunday. Thanks, everyone!
