WESTPORT, Conn. As people gathered at Sherwood Island State Park on Sunday to remember Sept. 11, Van Collins, a reader of The Daily Norwalk, was there. Collins shared his photos of the memorial service in hopes that all could see what went on, from kites flying high above to rocks placed next to the water's edge resembling the shape of the World Trade Center. The state's 9/11 memorial is located at the seaside park.
