Norwalk Yard Waste Site Opens Monday

NORWALK, CONN. — The City of Norwalk's Yard Waste site, located at 15 S. Smith St., will open for spring hours on Monday, March 30.

Starting on March 30, the hours will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The Scalehouse will be closed from noon to 12:30 p.m. weekdays.

Any yard waste can be brought in, loose or bagged in brown leaf bags, and all containers need to be removed.

All vehicles should have a Norwalk Resident/Beach Pass. Last year's passes expire March 31, and residents need to have this year's passes by May 1, allowing for a 30-day grace period.
