Norwalk Yard Waste Site Closes For Season

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Nowalk Yard Waste Site will close for the season at 2 p.m. Saturday.

There will be two weeks in January when the site, 15 S. Smith St., will be open for Christmas tree drop-off:

  • Monday, Jan. 4, through Saturday, Jan. 9.
  • Tuesday, Jan. 19, through Saturday, Jan. 23.. The site will be closed Monday, Jan. 18 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Hours will be 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.

The scale is closed for lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. (approximately).
