NORWALK, Conn. – The Yard Waste Site at 15 S. Smith St. in Norwalk will close for the season on Saturday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m.
After that, the site will be open on Wednesdays only, from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., subject to weather and at the discretion of the Department of Public Works.
It will open for Christmas tree drop-off from Monday, Jan. 5, through Saturday, Jan. 10, and from Tuesday, Jan. 20, through Saturday, Jan. 24.
Hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. The site will be closed on Monday, Jan.19, for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
The Yard Waste Site will reopen full time, for the spring season on Monday, March 30. For more information on these services, visit norwalkct.org or contact the Customer Service Center at 203-854-3200.
