Norwalk Voters League Sets Up Candidate Forums

NORWALK, Conn. – Are you interested in what the candidates have to say? You can hear them first-hand at a series of forums arranged by the League of Women Voters of Norwalk.

This year, the league is holding most of its In-District Council and Board of Education Candidate Forums within the voting district the candidates will represent. The hope is that the public will come out closer to their neighborhoods for a couple of hours to decide who they will support in the voting booth this year. Election Day is Nov. 8.

Here is the schedule:

7-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, Norwalk City Hall Community Room

• Common Council District C Forum

7-8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, Norwalk City Hall Common Council Chambers

Board of Education District C Forum

8-9 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24, Norwalk City Hall Common Council Chambers

• Common Council District D Forum

7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 208 Newtown Ave.

Board of Education District D Forum

• Mayoral Forum

Yeah I bet he's asking Moccia how many days off he can take this year and If he doesn't use them in Nov/Dec...can he roll the pro-rated days off over.
