Norwalk Transit District Wins Award For Annual Report

NORWALK, Conn. – The Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada recently honored the Norwalk Transit District for the fourth consecutive year.

The district received a Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report, said Norwalk Transit District Administrator Louis Schulman in a press release.

Richard Bangs Jr., a CPA and director of finance and administrative services for the Norwalk Transit District, was the main person who prepared the annual report.
