Norwalk Sets Labor Day Trash, Recycling Pickup Schedule

NORWALK, Conn. -- On Monday (Labor Day), garbage and recycling collection services by the City of Norwalk will follow a holiday schedule.

Garbage normally collected Mondays will be picked up Tuesday. Tuesday routes will be collected Wednesday and so on until Friday routes are collected Saturday.

Recycling normally collected Mondays will be picked up Tuesday. Tuesday routes will be collected Wednesday and so on until Friday routes are collected Saturday.

The Norwalk Transfer Station, 61 Crescent St., will be closed Monday and will reopen for regular business hours at 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The Yard Debris Site, 15 S. Smith St., will be closed Monday and will reopen for regular business hours at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.
