NORWALK, Conn. – Traffic was snarled on Connecticut Avenue on Friday afternoon and at least one person was taken to Norwalk Hospital after two cars and a pickup truck collided just south of Interstate 95's Exit 14.

The accident happened just after 4 p.m. It was minor, Norwalk Fire Department Deputy Chief Chris King said. He was "only there for a minute." He didn't know how many people were transported by paramedics, but "only one person was really complaining."

Cars coming off Exit 14 and heading south had to merge to the left, as both travel lanes were forced into the left turn lane to get around the emergency vehicles and the cars, which appeared to have minor damage.

OLD TIMER:

Tim
If you are such an expert why don't you contact the new chief and offer your service as a training officer ? You might have to put in some time on the street first, but you could handle that with one hand tied behind your back, right ?

Tim T:

You know you are probably right about that, however the new chief is as big of a waste as the old chief. However I already have a job and I pay taxes for the police and other civil servants to do their job..

The real professionals always make it look effortless, regardless of the profession. Would you prefer this officer look like he was doing 19 things at once ?

Tim T:

No I would prefer that he was directing traffic instead of leaning on the car...However I do agree the NPD are real professionals when leaning on a car or watching the hole...REAL PROFESSIONALS..HAHAHA..

Paige:

Next!

Tim T:

WOW the cop in the pic looks hard at work...Typical

NrwlkCT:

Tim , in a previous post you siad:

"I have never once mocked the police..WHAT I HAVE DONE AND WILL CONTINUE TO DO IS POINT OUT all the failures of the NPD..."

This post qualifies as empty mockery.

Tim T:

Not mocking ...Just pointing out the fact...
Are you saying he is not working?

NrwlkCT:

Totally mocking.

Tim T:

Are you a mind reader???
Just pointing out the dirty facts

Paige:

Did you know that an empty barrel makes the most noise?

Tim T:

You are pretty noisy ..Thanks for pointing that out
