NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Zoning Commission has scheduled a public hearing for Wednesday, Jan. 20, on a new 69-unit residential building.

The proposed project is in a mixed use development (District 1, Block 35, Lot 21). Any interested person can attend the meeting and speak, or submit written testimony.

The development proposed by 587 Connecticut Ave. LLC would include 69 apartments — 40 one-bedroom and 29 studio units, which would range in size from 546 to 715 square feet. The project would keep the existing bank at 15 Belden Ave. as is and construct a six-story apartment building at 11 Belden Ave.

The meeting is 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall at 125 East Ave.

Copies of all applications are on file at the office of the Zoning Commission at City Hall.
