NORWALK, Conn. Results from Tuesday's election have been released by the Registrar of Voters. There will be a recount, according to Republican registrar Karen Lyons Doyle, as only four votes separate Michael Barbis and Geoff Kieburtz in the District E Board of Education race (Barbis is ahead.) Only one vote separates Republicans Joanne Romano and John Tobin in the Common Council at Large race, for the fifth highest vote total. Doyle did not know if there would be a recount in that race, and she did not know when a recount will occur. Moderators were meeting at 1 p.m. to discuss the issue.
