NORWALK, Conn. A library patron got more words than she bargained for Monday when she opened a book at the Norwalk Public Library: There was a note inside describing how depressing life is. Norwalk police were called.
Library personnel checked to see who had the book last and police tracked down the woman, according to Sgt. Lisa Cotto. The woman remembered writing the note but did not realize she had left it in the book. She said she was depressed but was seeing a doctor to deal with her suicidal thoughts.
Police confirmed with Norwalk Hospital that the woman was seeing a psychiatrist there and the woman's family members said they were aware of her problems.
