NORWALK, Conn. 'Tis the season to be jolly, but the Norwalk Police Department is cracking down on those who go too far. There will be extra patrol cars on the street looking for those driving under the influence through the end of the year, Sgt. Lisa Cotto said.
Extra enforcement will take place all over the city and will be paid for through a Connecticut Department of Transportation grant.
"The Norwalk Police Department is very concerned about safety on Norwalk's streets," Cotto said. "We hope for full cooperation from the public."
