NORWALK, Conn. A Norwalk pizza deliveryman reported being robbed Saturday night in South Norwalk, according to a Norwalk police report. Police, including a canine officer, searched unsuccessfully for a suspect but found a plastic gun, Sgt. Andre Velez said.
The 21-year-old deliveryman for Jordan's Too pizza said two men and a woman had jumped him at about 8 p.m. when he got of out his car at 21 Lincoln Ave. The alleged attackers ran in different directions, he said.
Velez said the robber got "something" from the victim but could not be more specific other than to say the victim's cellphone was missing. The victim suffered a chipped front tooth, facial abrasions and minor cuts to his arms and legs. He was too shaken up to provide a description of his assailants, Velez said.
His girlfriend was with him at the time and was not hurt, according to police. She provided a description of the female assailant. Police used Rainor, a canine officer, to track a scent, but the trail ended at the end of a driveway with a 5-foot high wire fence. They found a plastic gun with a plastic magazine in it and the victim's cellphone.
The deliveryman had originally been told to go to 31 Lincoln Ave., but the address was changed to 21 Lincoln during second phone call to the restaurant.

A Stamford man and woman were assaulted during a group fight early Sunday at a Norwalk nightclub. Velez said they had been at the Rhythm nightclub, at 731 West Ave., with a group of friends and family members when they got into a group fight with rivals.
The 20-year-old man was punched in the face. A 26-year-old woman tried to help him out of the nightclub so he could avoid further injury and was assaulted. Velez said many people were involved, and police were trying to determine who did what. He said arrests may be made.
