NORWALK, Conn. A Norwalk man, who is in a local band, has been arrested on a warrant and held on $250,000 bond in what Norwalk Police describe as a "violent sexual assault."
Brendan Coleman-Rodriguez, 25, of 55 Meadow St. was charged with sexual assault first degree after being caught by Sgt. Steve Kalamindes during a traffic stop, Sgt. Thomas Roncinske said. The arrest stemmed from an intensive three-month investigation led by Detective David Orr.
Coleman-Rodriguez was also charged with possession of less than four ounces of marijuana. He had some marijuana in his sock, according to Sgt. Lisa Cotto.
"The victim should be commended for coming forward," Roncinske said.
