Garbage and recycling was picked up on the normal Monday through Wednesday. The Thursday routes will be collected on Friday, Dec. 26, and Friday routes will be picked up on Saturday, Dec. 27.
The Norwalk Transfer Station, located at 61 Crescent St., will be closed Christmas Day and will reopen for regular business hours Friday.
The Yard Debris Site, located at 15 S. Smith St., will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve for regular business hours, weather permitting.
