Norwalk Announces Christmas Garbage Pickup Schedule

NORWALK, Conn. -- There will be no garbage and recycling collection services by the City of Norwalk on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25.

Garbage and Recycling will be collected as normal Monday through Thursday. Friday routes will instead be collected on Saturday, December 26.

The Norwalk Transfer Station, 61 Crescent St., will be closed on Christmas Day and will reopen for regular business hours on Saturday, December 26.

The yard debris site, located at 15 S. Smith St., will be open on Wednesday, December 23 and Wednesday, Dec. 30 for regular business hours, weather permitting.
