NEON Opens Warming Stations In Norwalk

NORWALK, Conn. – People looking to warm up during the daytime and early evening can use the offices of Norwalk Economic Opportunity Now during the bitter cold snap.

The anti-poverty agency has opened its doors at 98 S. Main St. in Norwalk and 34 Woodland Ave. in Stamford on Mondays through Saturdays to help residents escape the cold. The Norwalk facility will be open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the Stamford center will be open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
