Metro-North Resumes New Haven Line Service On Sunday Schedule

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Metro-North is resuming service on its New Haven Line on a Sunday schedule, with the first trains pulling out at about 1 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a post on the Metro-North website, regular service will resume on Wednesday. Service on the Hudson and Harlem lines resumed at 11 a.m. Tuesday on a Sunday schedule.

Riders are advised to anticipate some delays and expect crowded conditions with the reduced train service after the snowstorm.

The first trains on the New Haven Line will be: 

Inbound

  • The 12:25 p.m. train from New Haven
  • The 1:02 p.m. train from Stamford
  • The 1:10 p.m. train from Waterbury
  • The 1:37 p.m. train from Danbury
  • The 1:28 p.m. train from New Canaan

Outbound

  • The 12:04 p.m. train from Grand Central Terminal to New Haven
  • The 12:07 p.m. from Grand Central Terminal to Stamford

Train service is still suspended on Amtrak and Shoreline East. CTTransit buses are not running.
