10 a.m.: Book signing and history walk, Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave. Author Jackie Lightfield talks about her latest travel guide , Discover Norwalk ; followed by a brief walk through downtown Norwalk.

10 a.m. – 5 p.m.: Puppy Palooza, adopt-a-thon for 80 puppies and small dogs (some larger ones, too!) and 25 kittens and cats seeking their forever homes. Best Friends , 528 Main Ave.

7:30 p.m.: Fairfield County Chorale performs Handel's Messiah, Concert Hall. Tickets $30 at the door.

Sunday
