David Robinson, former manager of the Union Street Market, said the apology from Luke Gatti was not really an apology, reported the Hartford Courant.
In a viral video of the original tantrum on Oct. 4, Gatti can be seen yelling, swearing and berating Robinson for nearly 10 minutes before he makes physical contact and is restrained by Robinson, another worker and campus police, said the Hartford Courant.
As it turned out, it was Robinson's last day on the job: He is now living in South America with his family, the paper reported.
Gatti, 19, of Bayville, N.Y., is no longer a student at UConn. He was arrested that night and charged with second-degree breach of peace and criminal trespass. He is due in court on the charges Nov. 3.
