NORWALK, Conn. A woman, a man and his dog were shot late Thursday off Broad Street, Norwalk police Sgt. Lisa Cotto confirmed.
The 27-year-old man and 56-year-old woman were both shot in their legs and were taken to Norwalk Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, Cotto said. The dog, named Karma, was shot in leg and ear. A bystander helped police find the injured dog, which was taken to an animal hospital on West Cedar Street.
The man and woman, who both live on Slocum Street, were outside with a group of people when someone walked up and shot them, Cotto said. A citizen was applying pressure to one of the victim's wounds when police arrived.
