  • A man was shot multiple times outside of Carleton Court in Norwalk on Christmas eve, injuring a 24-year-old Bridgeport man.
  • A New York man was accused of causing a disturbance at the Norwalk Police station after he refused to show identification to recover property. 
  • Luis Alomar, 37, a fugitive suspected in a string of bank robberies along the Eastern Seaboard, including possibly in Westchester and Fairfield counties, was arrested in Medford, Long Island, N.Y.
  • A former Norwalk resident Barbara O’Hara-Leone, 53, was sentenced to 30 months in prison for embezzling more than $100,000 from her employer, a Stamford dental practice.
