FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Happy New Year to all the readers of The Daily Voice in Fairfield County.

Thank you for reading The Daily Voice in 2013. We hope you will enjoy the news and stories we will bring to you in 2014.

A New Year can mean making a new start, turning to a new page, vowing to keep a new resolution or starting a new tradition. To borrow a line from social media, "Today is the first blank page of a 365-page book. Write a good one."

We’ll be back Thursday with the latest news and some of the trends you will see in the New Year. And we will start writing that new book.
