“The closing is done and the revival of Wall Street will now begin,” said Sen. Duff.

“This is a transformational project and it wouldn't be possible without the truly collaborative work between the city, POKO partners and our delegation. This partnership is going to yield new jobs and economic development for Norwalk, and a true rebirth for Wall Street. I want to thank Governor Malloy and the State Bond Commission for partnering with us and providing critical funding for this project, as well as Attorney General George Jepsen, DECD Commissioner Catherine Smith and Housing Commissioner Evonne Klein.”

“I’m extremely happy this funding is now in place and the project is moving forward,” said Norwalk Mayor Harry Rilling.

"Persistence, patience and diligence has paid off. This project, together with Head of the Harbor, marks the beginning of the rebirth of Wall Street. My team is also moving towards a proposal that will incentivize developers and property owners to invest in the area as well. Norwalk is on the rise and I thank Senator Duff, my Corporation Counsel and my economic development team, all who have played a significant part to get to this point.”

“I want to again thank the Governor for his consistent support of Wall Street Place, as well as Senator Duff and Mayor Rilling for their advocacy,” said State Rep. Chris Perone (D-Norwalk).

“I’m proud to have worked with them to make this project a reality. I also want to thank POKO Partners for being great stewards of the project.”

“The state is making a big investment in Wall Street Place because it recognizes the major opportunity we have,” said State Rep. Bruce Morris (D-Norwalk).

“This is a project that will boost the local and state economy by bringing new residents, new businesses, and new jobs to Norwalk. This is really a win-win for the city and the state.”
