Four Netted in Norwalk Drug Raid

What Norwalk police called a "lengthy investigation" bore fruit early Thursday when they raided an East Rocks Road home. Police say they found marijuana, amphetamines and "countless" steroids. The raid also netted two customers of the alleged drug dealer (one from Wilton, one from Darien) and a Westport man who police say has been supplying drugs to the dealer.

Clinton Chizinski, 27, of 63 East Rocks Road, the target of the investigation, was arrested and charged with two counts of illegal manufacture/distribution/sale of prescription drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of more than four ounces of marijuana and possession of a controlled substance or less than four ounces of marijuana. Bond was $75,000.

John Musor, 25, of 2 Quarter Mile Road, Westport, was arrested and charged with illegal manufacture/distribution/sale of prescription drugs, illegal possession near a school, possession of narcotics, sale/possession within distance of a school. Bond was $40,000.

Kara Pohlschroeder, 28, of 71 West Meadow Road, Wilton, and Nathaniel Tracy, 24, of 11 Oak Crest, Darien, were arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal attempt to possess narcotics.

Sgt. Charlie Perez and Det. Terrence Blake of Norwalk's Special Services unit say they received information that Chizinski was dealing drugs some time ago. They executed the search and seizure warrant at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, and say they found 31 grams of marijuana (just over an ounce), 410 amphetamine pills, "countless" steroids, in both liquid form and pills, and hundreds of syringes. They also seized a 2004 automobile and $22,000 in cash, $14,990 of which was in a safety deposit box that they learned about during the raid. The marijuana was of a very high grade, Blake said.

Chizinski is on probation in Colorado for selling marijuana, they said. He was shot in the abdomen in 2004 when he tried to break up a robbery at a Westport birthday party, according to WestportNow. He went out the back door of the home and back in the front door to grab a man who was holding a gun on one of the partygoers. As he wrestled the assailant he was shot.

After Chizinski was arrested he received calls on his cell phone from Pohlschroeder and Tracy, who police say were looking to buy drugs. Blake and Perez arranged to meet them and they were arrested.

They learned about Musor during the investigation. He is also on probation. He had 13 pills on him when he was arrested near Norwalk High School, the pill form of morphine. Police believe he was supplying the pills to Chizinski.

Police believe that Chizinski was using the steroids himself.
