FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — After some overnight rain, Eversource was reporting two large power outages on Saturday morning. 

In Newtown, 237 customers, or 2 percent of the town, were without power. Eversource said via Twitter it was aiming for restoration by noon.
