Disabled Train Near Fordham Delays Metro North Line

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Trains on the Metro North New Haven line are experiencing delays of between 40 and 50 minutes due to a disabled train in the vicinity of the Fordham station.

Some eastbound trains will not make stops at the Fordham station, according to Metro North. Riders should listen for announcements.

The Danbury line is also experiencing delays of up to 45 minutes due to an earlier late connection. Bus service will be provided on the Danbury line for the 10:30 a.m. train departing Danbury to South Norwalk.

The Harlem line is also experiencing delays of 40 to 50 minutes. There will be no inbound service at Melrose, Metro North said.
