NORWALK, Conn.—Fallen trees from Tropical Storm Irene covered fences and streets in Norwalk by midday Sunday. According to the National Weather Service , tropical storm conditions will continue through the rest of the day, with hurricane conditions possible. Storms may produce heavy rainfall with winds of 35 to 45 mph possible with gusts as high as 55 mph. Sunday night, winds will decrease to 10 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 43 mph. The rain is expected to clear before 8 p.m.

The Daily Norwalk reporters are snapping photos and gathering information. But that doesn’t mean we couldn’t use some help. If you’ve got a safe spot to take photos during or after the storm, we want to see them.
