NORWALK, Conn. — Norwalk has changed quite a bit since Mayor Harry Rilling was growing up in the city. And now even more changes are in store, particularly in the city's SoNo neighborhood.
A massive mall is expected to soon break ground in SoNo and an aging railroad bridge spanning the Norwalk River that crosses through a heavily developed part of SoNo is slated for replacement.
Rilling, who was born and raised in Norwalk, previously served as the city's police chief for 17 years.
Rilling discussed his career and future developments in Norwalk in an interview with the Daily Voice. Watch the video for the full interview.
