Consumer Assessment Ranks Greenwich Hospital No. 1 In Connecticut

GREENWICH, Conn. -- Recent data from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems shows that Greenwich Hospital scored the highest ranking for both “overall rating” and “willingness to recommend” in the state of Connecticut.

Greenwich Hospital also had the highest ranking among nearby hospitals in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam and Dutchess counties.

The HCAHPS initiative is intended to provide a standardized survey and method for collecting data that measures hospital care from the patient perspective. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) now requires every adult care hospital in the United States to participate in HCAPHS. The survey dates in this report were from April 2012 through March 2013. Complete results can be found on the CMS website.

Greenwich Hospital President and CEO Frank Corvino has instituted a culture of service excellence and meticulous attention to the overall patient experience that has garnered the hospital consistent top scores in patient satisfaction.
